Care of the Elderly at Hospitals

Hospitals are meant to improve an individual’s situation, but often they can contribute to confusion/delirium in older adults for a variety of reasons. One reason being, the older adult is out of their familiar surroundings. The program in this article, HELP, has volunteers available to prevent confusion/delirium in the care of the elderly in some Northern Virginia Hospitals.
