Technology is advancing so fast it is hard to keep up! For individuals who grew up with smartphones, tablets and computers it can be a little easier to learn how to use a device, compared to an elder who may find them overwhelming to learn. Did you know there are a variety of resources in Northern Virginia, even free, focused on assisting elders in learning to use technology. Technology can help elders stay connected with family and friends, help stimulate their brain, and even help with things similar to ordering groceries if they can no longer drive!
